How Can SEOAnt Help in Your Image Optimization?
SEOAnt gives you all the options for improving the images you use aside from their size and compression. For the necessary steps to follow in image optimization. Keep in mind that you need to fill out the information below before you can start the optimization. After installing the SEOAnt app on your store and logging into your account, you should enter the SEOAnt Dashboard like this:
Step 1: After Installing SEOAnt, you will see this Dashboard.

Step 2: Choose the Optimize Images option automatically.
You can always manually edit the optimization of the images on your website.

Step 3: Choose the type of compression needed for the image. You may select from loosely, lossless compression, or if you would like to set the reduction manually by clicking custom compression.
Lossy compression allows for reducing the quality of the image while also reducing the image size.
Lossless compression refers to no loss in image quality while having a moderate reduction in the image size.
On the other hand, custom compression allows you to set your image compression percentage for each image.

Step 4: Decide on which images need to be optimized. Select one from the choices by ticking one of the boxes as shown in the pictures. It can be All Product Images or Only Published Product Images.

Step 5: Create the correct file name for your website.
It is usually why some sites are rejected or ignored by Google. Always remember to use powerful, relevant keywords for your file name because it helps in your page SEO and image search results.

Step 6: Image converting.

Step 1 Navigate to settings: Speed Optimization-->Image Optimization--> Settings

Step 2 Image compression: Turn on the button-->select compression range-->choose compression level

Step 3 Add image watermark: Turn on the button-->Add watermark file-->select position-->choose size-->select opacity, you could preview the effect on the right side

Step 4 Add image alt text: Turn on the button-->select range-->choose the default rules-->select/unselect to overwrite

Step 5 Optimize image filename: Turn on the button-->select range-->choose default rules Kind reminder: Optimizing the file name changes the image link, which will break old links and cause the image loss.

Step 6 Save and optimize automatically/manually: You could only choose one method of optimization


How to restore optimized images?
You could select products to restore in bulk.

Here is a kind reminder for you:
Data of the images will only be kept in the system for 30 days. Once the data has passed 30 days limit, you might won't be able to restore or optimize them anymore. If your images were optimized within 6 months, please reach out to our support to check the possible solution.
